After being dropped at the last moment by another company, I was in desperate need of a graduation project. I started looking at companies in my area and found this cool agritech startup that built robots for farmers. During the first meeting there was an immediate click. The company offered me a project to further develop their brand by making a collection of films showcasing the what, how and why of Pixelfarming Robotics.
“The mission of the company, combined with the creative freedom made me decide to start my graduation project at Pixelfarming Robotics. “
Working as a content & media creator for Pixelfarming Robotics is very exciting. Everything related to photo, video and/or (web)design lands on my desk. We don’t have much typical days but I can give an example of tasks I usually perform. We start the week with a collective week start where all the goals of the week are presented and we get everyone on the same page. During an office day I usually work from 8:30 to 17:00 behind my desk to manage the website, planing shoots and editing videos. The other half of my work happens outside with my boots on the ground. There I record video and photo material of the robot, showcasing features or making specific explainers.
The diversity of tasks is very great. Sometimes it can get a little overwhelming but when that happens, I know I have a great team behind me. I feel very involved with the rest of the team too. I learn new things about technology, farming and business almost every day. Making the switch from being a self-employed media professional was challenging but I am glad to have made this step. in my career.
