Your role at Pixelfarming Robotics

As a Mechanical engineer at Pixelfarming Robotics, you will start in a small team of technical doers. You will be responsible for designing, developing and improving advanced technical solutions. You will work in multidisciplinary teams with other engineers including software engineers, embedded engineers, electronics engineers and other specialists to create Robots for Future Farmers.

Within the team you are…

Within the team you are responsible for the development from idea to solution. Clear communication to clients and stakeholders is important. You work in sprints and keep the project manager or leader informed of progress. You work on electronic circuits within Robot One and other related applications. You test your own builds and make sure a teammate can test with you.

What we need from you:

As Mechanical engineer you like to work in a multidiciplinary team in which you will develop yourself as an important link. You do not deviate from a challenge, are result-oriented and strive to learn something new every day. In addition, you are in possession of a car and B driving license.
You have a BA or MBA degree or you act at this level of thinking and working. You have expertise in mechanical design and manufacturing processes and have knowledge of materials, production techniques and mechanical components, such as motors, gears, belts and bearings. You should also have knowledge of regulations and standards related to mechanical design, such as safety regulations and product certifications, including CE.

You can make the greatest contribution with us and grow the fastest if you have experience with:

• CAD software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD or Fusion360 to create 3D models and engineering drawings.
• Performing strength calculations, simulations and analysis of mechanical systems
• Working on design challenges such as weight reduction, stiffness optimization and ergonomics.
