Your role in our company

Your role is to design, develop and improve advanced technical solutions for tomorrow’s agriculture. An embedded software engineer takes into account software already present in our platform and makes good use of it (refactoring). Of course you work ‘agile’ and are able to deal with changes and new insights. In addition, you test your own code and ensure that team members can also co-test. You check in code and prepare software releases for the product owner, including organizing user acceptance tests if necessary.

Within the team, you will be responsible for working out the process from idea to solution. Here clear and transparent communication to customers and stakeholders is important. You work in sprints and keep the project manager or lead informed of progress. You write reusable code and integrate existing components where possible. You put the end user at the heart of every project.

What we need from you

As an Embedded Software Engineer, you think it’s cool to work together in a multidiciplinary team in which you will develop yourself as an important link. You do not deviate from a challenge, are result-oriented and strive to learn something new every day. In addition, you are in possession of a car and B driving license.

You have an HBO degree or you act on HBO thinking and working level. You can make the biggest contribution and grow the fastest if you have experience with embedded software (low level c), preferably you have completed BSc Electronics. Do you preferably have knowledge and experience with some of the following languages:

  • C/C++
  • Python
  • Arduino
  • STM 32
  • ESP 32
  • OpenCV

Above all, you take pride in creating well-functioning solutions that help our customers achieve their goals.

What we can offer you

With us you will not only get the chance to develop a high tech farm robot but you will also develop yourself. By taking challenging tasks head on you will continue learning. You will enjoy good fringe benefits and competitive salary. Our campus will offer you a unique working environment that is close to nature. As part of our multidisciplinary team you will find out soon that there is a good informal working atmosphere. Together we create innovative projects that will make the world a better place.
