Your Role at Pixelfarming Robotics

As a Field Engineer at Pixelfarming Robotics, you will become an essential link between our innovative robot systems and the farmers who use them. Working directly with Robot One in real-world environments, you will help ensure our technology delivers real value on the field. You’ll be responsible for supporting our customers by installing updates, testing new features, and helping farmers get the most out of their robots through hands-on instruction and training.

Your place in our team

Within the team, you are the bridge between development and application. You’re not only technical but also communicative, curious, and eager to understand how our solutions perform in the field. You will gather feedback from our end-users and find a way to adopt this in future updates. You regularly visit our customers y in the Netherlands, Germany, Denmark, Canada and possibly other countries in the future. You will see a lot of interesting agricultural operations. Together with the grower you will make sure Robot One performs optimaly. You keep your team informed of insights and issues from the field, and you help make sure our robots meet the high standards we set in both innovation and reliability.

What we need from you

As an engineer, you enjoy a good challenge and are driven by results. You are not afraid to get your hands dirty and boots muddy. You love working with both technology and people, especially when you can combine the two.

You should have

• A HBO or WO degree in engineering (mechanical, mechatronics, robotics, software, biosystems, etc.).
• Affinity with high-tech systems and fieldwork.
• The ability to communicate in at least Dutch and English (German is a plus).
• A driver’s license B and willingness to travel across the Netherlands and abroad.

Bonus if you have

• Experience with field testing, diagnostics or system integration.
• Knowledge of agriculture or autonomous systems.
