Are you a tech-savvy problem solver eager to work on high-tech robotics? At Pixelfarming Robotics, we’re developing cutting-edge agricultural robots that rely on seamless software integration. Robot One is the product where the farmers expertise and an engineers technical insight come together.

As a Software Engineering Intern, you’ll work on improving communication between hardware components, refining image recognition technologies, and structuring data to drive smarter decision-making. You will be a part of a fast-moving, innovative team that does not shy away from a challenge. You will take on embedded software problems and make sure your code intergrates with the general operation of the robot. You won’t just be coding—you’ll be building, testing, and optimizing software that directly impacts the performance of our autonomous robots in the field.

What you will do:

• Develop and refine software for advanced agricultural robots.
• Work with sensors and cameras to improve positioning and plant recognition.
• Design efficient data structures for logging and analysis.
• Collaborate with engineeers to create seamless system intergrations.

What we are looking for:

• A student in software engineering, computer science, or a related field (HBO/WO).
• Passion for robotics, automation and AI driven solutions
• Strong problem-solving mindset and eagerness to innovate.
• Driving license B
• Experience with some of the following languages

During your internship you will work at our campus in Almkerk. In the midst of the countryside lies our headquarters where we design and test our robots. Because our goal is to create healthy food from healthy soil, we of course offer great lunches. You will become a solid part of our team and enjoy the various drinks and parties.
